Hugi Joins Hodges University AVP Finance and Administration

February 25, 2021 –NAPLES/FORT MYERS, FLA – Jess Hugi, CPA, has joined Hodges University as the Assistant Vice President of Finance and Administration.

In this role, he oversees the university’s finance, human resources and IT departments. He also oversees accounts payable, budgetary and general ledger management, and payroll.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he brings more than 10 years of private sector expertise, in addition to audit and assurance services governmental, for-profit and non-profit entities. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Florida Gulf Coast University, and his is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Managerial Accountants/SWFL Chapter, and is a cleanup volunteer for Lovers Key State Park.
