Quality of Life

edc-bikeWith our amazing weather, pro-business environment and close-knit community, it’s no wonder that Southwest Florida is one of the fastest-growing metro areas in the United States. Our close proximity to Southwest Florida International Airport, affordable office space, and business friendly services make South Lee County a great place to live, work and play. As part of the South Lee EDC mission,  we strive to preserve and enhance our quality of life in Bonita Springs and Estero. Current projects include:

  • Collaborate with resource partners and community initiatives to increase the amount and availability of attainable housing ($950-$1,450 per month)
  • Work in partnership with Healthy Lee and the Blue Zones Project to further improve the health of our region. Healthy communities achieve improved education outcomes, attract more talented workers and are more productive and competitive.
  • Promote the preservation of the environment, green spaces, parks and access to waterways.
